How we build and test this site, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Advanced Wellness Chiropractic treats WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the target standard for this website. It is the standard named in the quality checklist we hold this site to.
A target is not a result. Accessibility here is ongoing work, not a finished state. No outside firm has audited or certified this site, and we do not claim that every page meets every criterion. What follows is what we can point to in the site itself.
The first thing a keyboard reaches on any page is a link that jumps past the navigation to the main content. Press Tab when a page loads and it appears.
The site navigation, the links, and the buttons are built from ordinary HTML links and buttons, so a keyboard reaches them. Two controls on the patient forms are custom. The pain-area picker can be moved through with Tab and toggled with Enter or Space. The signature pad can be drawn with a mouse or finger, and it also offers a typed signature for anyone not using a pointer. Whatever has focus is marked with a visible outline. Where we find a control a keyboard cannot reach, we fix it.
If your device is set to reduce motion, the stylesheet cuts every animation and transition to almost no duration, and in-page links jump instead of scrolling smoothly. One multi-step form still scrolls the page back to the top smoothly when you move between steps.
Automated browser tests load pages at widths from 320 pixels up to 1920 pixels. On the pages they cover they check that there is exactly one main heading, that the booking and phone links are present, and that the page does not scroll sideways.
Images that carry information are given text alternatives, and each embedded map has a title that says what it is.
The map embedded on several pages comes from Google. We do not write what is inside it and cannot edit it, so a fix there depends on the vendor. Every page that shows the map also gives the address and the phone number as plain text, so nothing you need is only inside the map.
Elsewhere on the site, problems are fixed as they are found. If you report one, it gets fixed the same way.
If something on this site blocks you, call the office at (636) 393-8390 or use the contact page. Tell us the address of the page and what happened, and we will get you the information another way while the page is corrected.
You do not have to use this site to reach us. Scheduling, office hours, insurance questions, and directions can all be handled by a person on the phone during office hours.
