How we keep patient education useful, cautious, and accountable.
Last updated
Advanced Wellness Chiropractic publishes educational content to help patients understand common musculoskeletal symptoms, available services, and what to expect during an evaluation. It is not a substitute for an examination, diagnosis, emergency care, or advice from a clinician who knows your health history.
These standards apply to our condition pages, service pages, patient guides, and blog articles.
Condition and treatment pages identify Dr. Je'an-Claude Bordeaux, DC as the clinical reviewer and show the date of the latest recorded review. That review checks whether the page stays within chiropractic scope, distinguishes education from diagnosis, and explains when another type of medical care may be more appropriate.
We give preference to clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews, peer-reviewed research, and established government or academic health sources. We describe preliminary or mixed evidence as preliminary or mixed, and we avoid presenting one small study as a guarantee of treatment success.
Clinical pages include urgent warning signs when they are relevant. A website cannot diagnose an emergency, so symptoms such as sudden weakness, loss of bowel or bladder control, severe trauma, chest pain, or new neurological changes are directed to urgent medical evaluation rather than an online booking form.
Treatment response varies by diagnosis, health history, severity, duration, and other factors. We explain what an evaluation may include and what options may be considered, but we do not promise a cure, a fixed number of visits, or the same result for every patient.
Office location, hours, parking, accepted insurance categories, and scheduling information are maintained from practice records. Patients should still verify plan-specific benefits and appointment availability directly with the office.
Pages are updated when treatment information, safety guidance, services, or practice details materially change. A substantive clinical update receives a new review date. Typographical or layout corrections do not imply that the clinical evidence changed.
When a page discusses specific research, we link to the source whenever practical so readers can review it directly. Patient testimonials describe individual experiences and are never presented as typical or guaranteed outcomes.
